Functional Solution Architect Program Director

About the role

TCS is seeking an Engagement Director for the ESU Consulting Practice. This role is responsible for the planning, execution, and management of complex and large transformation engagements at TCS clients. The Engagement Director will coordinate the work of TCS and client team members across one or more projects and will be accountable for the successful delivery of all phases, releases, and project components for transformation projects. Responsibilities include ensuring overall quality, engagement, and adherence to schedule and budget, with a focus on end-to-end business process knowledge in SAP processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and management of large SAP S/4 HANA transformation projects as an Enterprise Solution Architect.
• Design solutions across multiple functional areas with strong integration experience in SAP cloud solutions and non-SAP application landscapes.
• Manage global program stakeholders and proactively address potential issues through collaboration with the implementation team.
• Oversee team management with strong interpersonal skills, fostering cross-functional leadership among SAP functional consultants.
• Coordinate with business teams during design, configuration, system integration testing, user acceptance tests, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live activities.
• Lead large global business transformation programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and values.
• Translate business requirements into technical requirements and guide business counterparts toward the right SAP solutions.
• Leverage and build assets, accelerators, and thought leadership to drive project success.
• Mentor junior team members and be hands-on as required.
• Manage teams of 20+ resources.

Requirements

• At least five (5) full life cycle implementations as an ERP Project Manager with multi-module implementations (Finance, Sales, Production, Purchasing, Warehouse).
• A minimum of ten (10) years of transformational ERP consulting or equivalent industry experience.
• At least six (6) years of experience in proposal and business case development.
• Strong business process knowledge across various industry verticals and integration scenarios.
• Proven ability to articulate the business value enabled by SAP S/4HANA.
• Willingness to travel up to 100%.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (preferably in Computer Science or a related field).

Pay

Salary Range: $218,600 - $287,000 a year
