Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily program operations for housing and supportive services programs
- Supervise Program Managers, behavioral health leaders, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure delivery of case management, mental health services, life skills programming, and housing support
- Create and sustain partnerships with VA, Continuum of Care (CoC), landlords, funders, and community providers
- Maintain a trauma-informed, therapeutic environment for clients
- Monitor program performance, outcomes, and service delivery metrics
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and VA regulations, including HMIS data integrity
- Oversee facility operations, housing quality, and property management coordination
- Manage budgets, expenses, and program financial performance
- Manage staff hiring, supervision, training, and performance management
- Conduct internal audits, documentation reviews, and quality assurance activities
- Oversee inventory, site resources, and emergency preparedness
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field; 4+ years of experience in program management, housing programs, or social services leadership; Proven experience in staff supervision, program development, and budget management; Strong knowledge of homeless services, supportive housing, and veteran services; Experience with HMIS, data reporting, and compliance standards; Demonstrated leadership in multidisciplinary team environments; Excellent communication, public speaking, and stakeholder engagement skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Office and program data systems
- PREFERRED: Master’s degree in Social Work, Public Administration, or Nonprofit Management; Experience with VA programs, or Continuum of Care (CoC) systems; Background in behavioral health or integrated service delivery models
