Technical Services Engineer, Named Accounts

About the role

MongoDB Technical Services Engineers provide exceptional problem-solving and customer service skills to advise and solve complex MongoDB problems for our largest enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain complex, mission-critical production database systems
• Monitor and alert on system performance
• Manage backups and recovery processes
• Ensure database security and compliance
• Design and implement data models and schemas
• Provide solutions architecture guidance
• Communicate with product management and development teams on behalf of customers
• Interact with customers to understand their needs and resolve complex issues

Requirements

• 7+ years of database industry experience deploying and managing operational production databases at scale
• Experience with Cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
• Experience with MongoDB and its ecosystem
• Experience with networking concepts and protocols
• Experience with storage engineering
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills
