Technical Services Driver CDL

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Drives and operates semi-vans, roll-off trailers, and dump trailers as required.
• Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and consistently maintaining safe practices.
• Loads supplies needed for job completion and travels to various industry, laboratory, and school sites to perform lab pack services.
• Prepares for daily trip by inspecting vehicle and equipment, fueling truck, and ensuring all equipment is in excellent order.
• Drives to customer sites to collect waste material and/or transport hazardous and non-hazardous material.
• Completes necessary paperwork for shipment of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Fulfills proper placarding and load segregation requirements when transporting hazardous materials.
• Maintains a logbook for Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance.
• Assists customers in troubleshooting and correcting record keeping inconsistencies and service concerns.
• Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent (required).
• 1+ years of Class A CDL or Class B CDL driving experience (required).
• Hazmat endorsement (required).

• Position requires physical exertion such as lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds.
• May require frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
• Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and drive a variety of vehicles.
