Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Drives and operates semi-vans, roll-off trailers, and dump trailers as required.
- Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and consistently maintaining safe practices.
- Loads supplies needed for job completion and travels to various industry, laboratory, and school sites to perform lab pack services.
- Prepares for daily trip by inspecting vehicle and equipment, fueling truck, and ensuring all equipment is in excellent order.
- Drives to customer sites to collect waste material and/or transport hazardous and non-hazardous material.
- Completes necessary paperwork for shipment of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
- Fulfills proper placarding and load segregation requirements when transporting hazardous materials.
- Maintains a logbook for Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance.
- Assists customers in troubleshooting and correcting record keeping inconsistencies and service concerns.
- Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization.
Qualifications
- High-school diploma or equivalent (required).
- 1+ years of Class A CDL or Class B CDL driving experience (required).
- Hazmat endorsement (required).

- Position requires physical exertion such as lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds.

- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and drive a variety of vehicles.
