Technical Services Driver
About the role
As a Technical Services Driver at Arcwood Environmental, you will drive and operate semi-vans, roll-off trailers, and dump trailers. You will prioritize health and safety by adhering to policies and maintaining safe practices while performing lab pack services at various industry, laboratory, and school sites.
Responsibilities
- Load supplies needed for job completion and travel to customer sites.
- Inspect vehicle and equipment, fuel the truck, and ensure all equipment is in excellent order before daily trips.
- Drive to customer sites to collect waste material and transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
- Complete necessary paperwork for shipment of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
- Follow proper placarding and load segregation requirements for hazardous materials transport.
- Maintain a logbook for Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance.
- Assist customers in troubleshooting record-keeping inconsistencies and service concerns.
- Act as a Company Representative with all customers and contacts.
- Take on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization.
Requirements
- High-school diploma or equivalent (required).
- 1+ years of Class A CDL driving experience (required).
- Hazmat endorsement (required).
