Technical Services Associate

Bring your expertise to STERIS as a Technical Services Lab Associate. In this role, you will support customers and the sales team by assisting with data collection, lab testing, record maintenance, report preparation, and the daily operations of the lab in Saint Louis, Missouri. This position follows a 100% onsite model.

Responsibilities

• Experiment Design and Data Collection: Help design experiments and conduct tests using established procedures to gather data for laboratory evaluations. Collaborate with a Senior Associate or Specialist to interpret results and plan subsequent experiments. Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and offer recommendations based on findings.
• Customer Support: Under the guidance of a Specialist or Manager, provide telephone and written support, literature, lab analysis, and assistance with field trials to customers in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical sectors, as well as the sales team. Handle tasks related to product applications, ensure correct usage, and provide background information or analytical support.
• Lab Operations: Assist with daily laboratory operations, including maintaining quality control records and documenting standard operating procedures for lab maintenance and equipment operation. Coordinate the receipt, distribution, and storage of laboratory supplies.
• Technical Support Coordination: Help generate, update, and manage technical support data for the product line.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to government regulations by implementing safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Biological Science, Biomedical or Chemistry is required.
• Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with UF/DF (Ultrafiltration/Diafiltration) testing is highly desirable.

Pay

Pay range for this opportunity is $56,000.00 - $73,000.00. This position is eligible for bonus participation. Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
