Technical Scrum Master

Primary Responsibilities

Lead the team in executing planned sprint activities.
Facilitate and lead all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Retrospectives, and Reviews/Demos, using relevant metrics and data to drive continuous improvement.
Actively remove impediments by resolving blocking issues related to feature development, build and dependency challenges, operational support conflicts, and process.
Provide timely status, risk, and dependency reporting to the Release Train Engineer and management, including sprint execution, team availability, and issues impacting delivery.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with 4-8 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree with 2-6 years of prior experience
• Significant knowledge of Java with substantial hands-on programming experience
• Significant experience with Web development and commonly used front-end tools and languages (React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Significant experience with unit testing tools such as Junit and Mockito
• Experience with RESTful API, JSON, XML, XSD
• Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Security, and Spring Boot
• Experience with Linux
• Experience with version control systems such as Git or Subversion
• Experience with common development tools and IDEs (Eclipse, VS Code, etc.)
• Experience working as a Scrum Master within the Agile Scrum framework
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
• Ability to obtain SF-85 Public Trust (Tier 2) suitability determination
• US citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of or experience with AI-assisted coding (Claude Code, Codex etc.)
• Knowledge of or experience with microservices and cloud-based environments
• Knowledge of or experience with Python programming language
• Knowledge of or experience with Ansible playbooks and YAML
• Knowledge of or experience with Linux shell scripting
• Knowledge of or experience with MongoDB
• Knowledge of air traffic control and flight services ATMC
