MTSI is seeking a Technical Scheduler/Joint Exercise Planner responsible for synchronizing the planning, resourcing, and execution of experimentation, demonstrations, and multi‑service events that drive mission success. The selected candidate will be an operational planner who understands joint experimentation, required infrastructure, service participation, and technical dependencies. Responsibilities Lead the planning, scheduling, and coordination of technical experimentation and joint exercises across the Air Force, Army, Navy, USMC, and partner organizationsDevelop detailed timelines, checklists, and coordination pathways to ensure all technical and operational elements are ready prior to eventsEnsure appropriate service representation and participation at eventsMaintain synchronization with geographically dispersed teamsIdentify required systems, equipment, cloud/on‑prem resources, and networks needed to support experimentationCoordinate closely with engineering and operations teams to confirm all capabilities are configured, transported, and availableWork with program leadership to prevent gaps such as arriving at events without proper infrastructure or integration environmentsLiaise with service representatives, program managers, operators, and technical stakeholders to ensure alignment across all phases of planningParticipate in meetings, working groups, and sync sessions to maintain situational awareness of priorities and schedule changesMaintain an accurate schedule of events, readiness status, risks, and dependenciesProvide inputs to program leadership on upcoming requirements, conflicts, or resourcing gapsTrack lessons learned and incorporate improvements into future planning cycles Required Experience 18+ years of technical scheduling experienceExperience planning or supporting DoD technical experimentation, exercises, events, or demonstrationsFamiliarity with joint operations, cross‑service coordination, and C2 concepts relevant to integrated developmental programsAbility to manage schedules across multiple time zones and geographically distributed teamsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex dependenciesExcellent communication skills and ability to coordinate across military, government civilian, and contractor personnel Required Education Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, operations research, national security studies, or a related field Desired Qualifications 20+ years of experienceExperience with ABMS, CJADC2, or similar environmentsPrior military or government experience in joint planning or technical operationsFamiliarity with experimentation infrastructure (cloud/on‑prem environments, service‑specific systems)Proficiency in project or scheduling tools Required Clearance Active TS/SCI The pay range for this position in is $150,000/year to $180,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors.
