Wavetronix is seeking an Applications Specialist to join our team in Jackson, MS. The role involves helping customers with technical issues, installing, training, and supporting new and existing products. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Master installation and configuration of Wavetronix core products
  2. Demonstrate and troubleshoot Wavetronix products
  3. Build positive relationships with customers
  4. Provide technical training (up to 10 people)
  5. Give technical presentations
  6. Review plans and design Wavetronix products into projects
  7. Conduct technical site surveys
  8. Provide service and customer support
  9. Help manage on-site installations/configurations
  10. Diagnose errors and determine solutions
  11. Document processes and produce trip reports
  12. Cooperate with the team and share information
  13. Comprehend customer requirements and make recommendations
  14. Keep track of projects and support cases in CRM
  15. Have a basic understanding of networking
  16. Able to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing schedules

Preferred qualifications include:

  • 3+ years in technical sales
  • Self-starter
  • Ability to execute presentations to large groups
  • Ability to travel 50% or more in a month

  • Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations to clients
  • Effectively communicate and cooperate with Technical Services

The successful candidate will progress through milestones including:

  • 3 Month Milestones: Understand company values, demonstrate troubleshooting skills, and build positive relationships
  • 6 Month Milestones: Master installation and configuration, demonstrate troubleshooting abilities, and demonstrate knowledge of non-core product line
  • 12 Month Milestones: Install, configure, troubleshoot, and demonstrate all Wavetronix products, learn intersection and controller cabinet operations, and perform at least 5 solo technical customer visits
