Technical Sales Specialist (Gene Therapy) - Philadelphia, PA

This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. Responsibilities

• Identify and engage new customers for business opportunities
• Plan and manage technical demonstrations and trials
• Drive deal progression through solution framing and addressing objections
• Shape proposals and offers alongside Central Sales using technical insights
• Provide pre- and post-sales support to ensure customer adoption
• Capture Voice-of-Customer insights to influence product offerings
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance sales strategies

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of technical sales, applications support, or presales experience
• Proven track record in identifying and winning new business opportunities
• Strong experience with hands-on technical selling, including demos and trials
• Excellent consultative communication skills targeting diverse stakeholders
• Familiarity with CRM systems and structured sales processes
• Willingness to travel over 50% of the time

Pay

$100,000 – $120,000 annually
