TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE

As a Technical Sales Representative, you will sell and promote products and services requiring technical knowledge of engineering and cost-effectiveness. You will engage with company management to introduce and demonstrate the value of our offerings.
You will work in an office environment supporting the manufacturing of equipment used to produce diverse consumer products. This role allows you to see products move from concept to reality while collaborating with skilled tradesmen and experienced engineers. Your work will improve the performance of everyday products, from wine labels to trash bags.
Responsibilities
- Use technical knowledge of product offerings to support and build sales.
- Confer with customers to assess potential applications of company products or services and offer tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with engineers and the sales team to promote products, services, and technical support.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining and demonstrating product benefits to existing or potential customers.
- Work with customers and production engineering to determine how products or services can be designed or modified to meet customer needs.
- Recommend changes in equipment, materials, or machinery to customers, documenting cost reductions or operational improvements.
- Plan and modify product configurations to meet customer needs.
- Develop, prepare, and present sales proposals or quotations to secure or renew orders.
- Provide technical training to clients and communicate customer feedback for future product development.
- Diagnose problems with products or installed machinery and provide consultation.
