Key job responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth and customer acquisition by managing the full sales cycle for strategic National Security accounts
- Build and maintain executive relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within assigned accounts to understand business objectives and position AWS solutions
- Develop and execute account strategies that align AWS capabilities with customer mission requirements and drive adoption of cloud services across your territory
- Collaborate with internal teams including solutions architects, partner teams, marketing, and professional services to deliver comprehensive solutions for high-priority customers
- Forecast accurately and manage pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets, providing regular updates to leadership on deal progression and account health
- Represent AWS professionally at industry events, conferences, and customer briefings, demonstrating thought leadership in cloud solutions for National Security missions
About the role
The Worldwide Public Sector National Security Team (WWPS, NATSEC) is part of AWS Sales which is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing market segments in support of the National Security. We work backwards from our customer's most complex and business critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. WWPS teams include business development, specialist and technical solutions architecture. As part of WWPS, you'll provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. Qualifications
- Experience proactively growing customer relationships within an account while expanding their understanding of the customer's business
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Experience in direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives
