Technical Sales Intern- Tampa
We are seeking a Sales Engineering Intern to focus on a variety of sales and customer-related engineering tasks in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for a student currently enrolled in a mechanical- or construction-oriented curriculum with an expected graduation date of May 2027 and an interest in becoming a Sales Engineer.
About the Role
The internship is a full-time position (around 40 hours per week) based in the local sales office for Summer 2026 (May to August), with the potential to continue part-time in Fall 2026. Excellent performance may lead to full-time employment opportunities in sales, field service, or other engineering roles upon graduation.

Responsibilities
- Engineering and inside sales tasks, including parts orders, accounting, selections, and designs.
- Outside sales tasks, such as market research and cold calling.
- Special projects assigned by the sales team, related to office efficiencies, data analysis, or market research and development.
- Field engineering, including job site visits and exposure to field service tasks.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a mechanical- or construction-oriented curriculum with an expected graduation date of May 2027.
- Available to work full-time (around 40 hours per week) during Summer 2026 (May to August).
- Knowledge of HVAC is a plus.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Local candidates preferred; no housing provided.
Pay
Competitive hourly pay ranging from $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience.
