About the role
The Technical Resources Engineer I at Aurora Organic Dairy will support company growth, assist with equipment selection, and participate in project execution. This role involves learning regulatory requirements, analyzing vendor needs, and coordinating projects and repairs.
Responsibilities
- Learn and understand regulatory requirements for dairy processing.
- Analyze and help select vendors based on company needs.
- Aid in the development of company standards for equipment, construction materials, and processes.
- Select equipment to support AOD's growth and assist in building design.
- Coordinate vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely and budget-conscious project completion.
- Support the Technical Resource Manager during project implementation.
- Provide back-up support for the Technical Resource Manager.
- Available for scheduled and non-scheduled travel.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 0-2 years' experience in process optimization, capacity planning, and working with cross-functional teams.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, technical interpretation, design software knowledge, data tools experience, effective communication, and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to work in an office and on the plant floor, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Travel: Available for scheduled and non-scheduled travel.
