Boom Supersonic is building the breakthrough Overture supersonic airliner and the Superpower natural gas turbine—machines that push the boundaries of physics, manufacturing, and industrial ambition. As a Technical Recruiter at Boom, you won’t merely be filling reqs. You’ll be building the team that makes history.

You’ll be part of a small, high-performance recruiting team responsible for building one of the most ambitious hardware companies of this century. Every engineer, every manufacturing leader, every critical hire will move through a process you help design and operate. You’ll have founder-level visibility and shape the trajectory of the future of the industry. You won’t be a cog in a machine. You’ll be a highly visible operator trusted to find and close the best talent in the world.

Responsibilities

• Scour the planet for the best of the best—the exceptional, ambitious, and hungry to work on something that matters—and help them see Boom is the place where their life’s work can happen.
• Source creatively—finding latent talent from other industries and candidates with non-traditional profiles.
• Help convince candidates that weren’t looking that Boom has opportunities they can’t miss.
• Protect the hiring bar under pressure.
• Partner with some of the most capable engineering leaders in the world to assemble a team capable of building breakthrough machines.

Requirements

• To conform to U.S. Government aerospace technology export regulations (ITAR and EAR), applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

Qualifications

This position is at the P4 level, which typically requires 8 - 12+ years of experience.

Pay

The Base Salary Range for this position is $125,000 - $159,000 per year. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
