About the role
Vitu is transforming the way vehicles, businesses, government, and drivers interact through Vehicle-to-Government (V2Gov) technology. Our platform manages titling and registration transactions in all 50 states, reimagining how drivers, businesses, and governments interact with vehicles. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Technical Project Manager to join our PMO team, responsible for managing one or more medium to high complexity technical projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform business analysis activities to extract and document requirements with acceptance criteria.
- Make decisions influencing project success, handling complex technical activities in varied contexts.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively, managing conflicts and resolving project issues.
- Plan, schedule, execute, and monitor work to meet project targets, ensuring projects stay on budget, scope, and time.
- Regularly update stakeholders on milestones and provide status reports.
- Hold the project team accountable, ensuring transparency and direct communication.
- Alert leadership and sponsors when projects deviate from goals, proposing alternate solutions.
- Negotiate trade-offs on schedule, scope, and budget as needed, revising plans with sponsor approval.
- Organize and lead project status meetings, working sessions, and delivery planning.
- Present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a technical project manager.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CAPM) or equivalent experience.
- Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking.
- Proficiency in document, spreadsheet, presentation, and project management tools.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $97,000 - $110,000. Final pay will be determined by factors including location, education, experience, training, and skills.
