Primary Duties

Risk Management & FMEA
- Facilitate DFMEA and PFMEA sessions
- Identify and prioritize potential failure modes
- Develop mitigation strategies and verify effectiveness
- Maintain risk registers
- Ensure lessons learned are fed back into design and process improvements
- Lead structured problem-solving activities (5-Why, Fishbone, DMAIC)
Engineering Coordination & Technical Development
- Support translation of product designs into manufacturable processes
- Support fixture, tooling, and special equipment development
- Ensure engineering documentation is accurate and ready for production handoff
Preventative Maintenance & Equipment Reliability
- Develop preventative maintenance (PM) plans
- Collaborate with Maintenance and Production Engineering
- Track equipment performance and downtime trends
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Build productive internal and external working relationships
- Coordinate with Engineering on technical requirements
- Partner with Supply Chain and vendors
- Work with Sales, Product Management, Production, and Operations
- Provide guidance to lower-level employees or peers
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain project documentation
- Prepare status updates
- Facilitate cross-functional reviews
