Technical Project Manager
Position Summary
The Technical Project Manager is accountable for managing site-based projects throughout the software development lifecycle. This role partners closely with the Lottery, site teams, internal SG stakeholders, and third-party partners.
Job Duties / Key Accountabilities
- Manage multiple site projects and portfolio-level initiatives through the full software development lifecycle.
- Serve as a primary point of coordination between the Lottery, site teams, internal SG stakeholders, and third-party partners.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Oversee portfolio prioritization to ensure alignment with business objectives and customer commitments.
- Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies; develop and execute mitigation plans.
- Provide regular project and portfolio status reporting, including timelines, risks, issues, and resource impacts.
- Facilitate project governance, working sessions, and stakeholder communications.
- Ensure adherence to SG project management standards, processes, and best practices.
- Support continuous improvement of project delivery processes and tools.
Required Qualifications / Skills / Knowledge
- Minimum bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
- 5 + years of PM experience, with at least 2 years in leading large-scale customer implementation projects
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical project management, preferably within software development or technology-driven environments
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and portfolios simultaneously
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
- Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, external customers, and third-party vendors
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with change management and scope control
- Understanding of release planning and deployment coordination
- Metrics-driven approach (milestones, burn-up/down, delivery health)
Desired
- PMP certification is strongly preferred (or equivalent project management certification)
- Experience working in regulated or customer-facing environments (e.g., lottery, gaming, or similar industries)
- Familiarity with JIRA and Planview
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Regularly sit, stand, walk, bend, use hands, operate a computer, and have specific vision abilities to include close and distance vision, and ability to adjust focus working with computer and business equipment.
