Technical Project Manager

About the role

This role is a limited-duration position, approximately 6 months, classified as either a W-2 employee or 1099 contractor.

Responsibilities

• Owning the project plan, schedule, and deliverables in Jira.
• Coinciding with the engineering team and staying aligned with the project lead.
• Partnering with the client's project team on expectations, dependencies, and hand-offs.
• Escalating or resolving risks, blockers, and scope changes.
• Running meetings and keeping project docs up to date.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience managing IT, software, or data projects.
• Experience with project management software (Jira preferred).
• Comfort with technical topics like cloud platforms (Azure), Python, and Kubernetes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with internal and external teams.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• PMP, CSM, or an equivalent project management certification (preferred).

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Skills
