Technical Project Manager

About the role

Technical Project Manager supporting client locations in the DMV area, responsible for managing complex technical projects in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive clarity in ambiguous situations and balance technical understanding with project management to anticipate risks
• Build strong stakeholder relationships to align teams and ensure successful execution
• Break down complex problems into actionable plans while maintaining focus on outcomes
• Remove blockers proactively and deliver results with an ownership-driven approach
• Improve processes and practices across large-scale, cross-functional initiatives
• Develop and maintain an integrated master schedule to meet project goals

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years relevant experience
• 5+ years in technical project management, with proven dependency, risk, and timeline management
• Experience designing, planning, and executing complex technical projects independently
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), migrations, and process improvements
• Knowledge of SDLC, system architecture, security, DevOps, and infrastructure-as-code
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and compliance standards like FedRAMP, NIST, or CMMC
• Professional certifications such as PMP or Agile credentials

Clearance & Physical Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Ability to remain stationary and communicate effectively, including occasional movement and presentations
