About the role

Piper Companies is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join a growing healthcare technology organization focused on healthcare data integration, interoperability, and data delivery solutions. The Technical Project Manager will lead cross-functional technical initiatives, drive Agile project execution, and serve as the primary point of coordination between stakeholders, engineering teams, and customer-facing partners to ensure successful delivery of healthcare technology projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical projects within Agile pods from planning through deployment and post-release support
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, risks, and stakeholder expectations
  • Facilitate sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and project status meetings
  • Create and manage Jira tickets, user stories, and project documentation
  • Track blockers, drive issue resolution, and oversee release management activities
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners
  • Support healthcare data integration initiatives involving HL7, FHIR, APIs, and interoperability standards
  • Drive continuous process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Technical Project Management, Business Analysis, or related experience
  • Experience managing technical projects from requirements gathering through implementation
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and SDLC methodologies
  • Proficiency with Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation
  • Experience writing requirements, user stories, and technical tickets
  • Healthcare technology experience with strong HL7 integration knowledge required
  • Familiarity with FHIR, APIs, SFTP, VPN, HTTPS, MFT, and related integration technologies preferred
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and project ownership skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; PMP or CSM certification is a plus
  • Experience with Mirth Connect, Databricks, and Postman is preferred

Pay

  • Pay rate: $41-50/hr
