About the role

The Technical Project Manager will oversee project planning, implementation, and tracking, focusing on merger-related initiatives within our clients Credit Union's project landscape. The ideal candidate has experience with financial institutions, particularly in credit unions or banking, and is familiar with credit union member identification processes and compliance. This role will work closely with internal teams using Agile (Scrum) methodology and Azure DevOps to track progress, ensuring timely delivery and integration of custom systems with the Jack Henry Bano banking platform.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project plans and ensure milestones are met according to timelines and budgets.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project status updates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives and success metrics.
  • Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) to manage and monitor project deliverables.
  • Provide project documentation and facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., Sprint Planning, Retrospectives).
  • Address project risks and provide solutions to maintain project timelines.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of project management experience within the financial sector, preferably with banking or credit unions.
  • Proficiency with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or similar project management software.
  • Familiarity with core banking systems (knowledge of Jack Henry Bano platform is a plus).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
