About the role
An experienced, detail-oriented Technical Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of enterprise systems projects, with a focus on ERP and business process automation. Have a strong technical background, understanding of accounting and financial processes, exceptional leadership skills, and proven track record of successfully managing complex projects. Translate business process requirements into technical solutions and deliver each project on schedule, within budget, and in close partnership with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations
- Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial objectives are met
- Provide technical guidance and oversight throughout the project lifecycle
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure the future state meets the documented needs of the various stakeholder groups
- Work closely with engineering and architecture teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Ensure that the project aligns with the company's technical standards and architectural guidelines
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors on execution of projects
- Publish project status regularly, including relevant KPIs and metrics
- Effectively communicate relevant project information to stakeholders
- Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in technical project management delivering ERP implementations, business process automation, or enterprise system integrations
- Skilled in requirements gathering, data mapping, and validation
- Knowledge of financial concepts including journal entries, general ledger structure, and financial reporting (balance sheet, cash flow, P&L)
- Familiarity with enterprise financial systems, including ERP and EPM platforms
- Understanding of database architecture and best practices to ensure system performance and long-term maintainability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly to multiple stakeholder groups
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira
- PMP, Scrum Master, or other relevant certifications preferred
