About the role

The Opportunity: As a technical project management specialist, you know the complexities of supporting software projects from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it’s imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That’s why we need you, an experienced technical project management specialist who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain organizational programs in support of Navy clients.
  • Work with key stakeholders to review contracts and project cost accounting.
  • Help with tactical planning using resources like MS Project and regular interactions with SMEs, schedulers, customers, and project analysts.
  • Communicate effectively to ensure the program achieves its goals and meets our quality standards.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a Technical Project Management role or managing teams to meet stakeholder objectives.
  • Experience with the Navy or DoD.
  • Experience with Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience teaching technical teams the basic Agile framework concepts.
  • Experience creating solutions within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
  • Able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Nice If You Have:
    • Experience conducting a Program Increment (PI) Planning Event.
    • Experience developing project plans with MS Project.
    • Experience distilling requirements from systems engineering models.
    • Experience in software development.

Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • SAFe Certification.
  • Scrum Master Certification.

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
