- Monitor live broadcasts in real time, triaging and escalating technical issues
- Drive real-time coordination with production and engineering teams to mitigate and resolve issues during live events
- Design and document signal path architectures for platform workflows, applying broadcast standards to validate and optimize contribution and distribution pipelines
- Validate transcoding configurations, data integrity, failover procedures, and quality assurance checkpoints across the ingest-to-egress chain
- Apply deep knowledge of streaming infrastructure -- ingest protocols, encoding pipelines, CDN egress, ABR packaging, and playback delivery -- to optimize configurations, identify systemic issues, and inform platform roadmap decisions
- Translate operational needs into technical specifications for platform features, defining acceptance criteria, edge cases, and rollout considerations

- Experience at a studio, media company, streaming platform, post-production facility, or live event production environment
- Familiarity with automation and scripting for operational workflows
- Understanding of content protection (DRM), watermarking, or access control mechanisms in live streaming
