This pivotal contract role offers a high-impact opportunity at the center of software, hardware, and product development. You will join a fast-paced, collaborative team with a startup-like culture, where you can shape processes and influence how products are built from the ground up, turning ambiguity into action and helping teams deliver truly transformative products.

Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end execution for software and firmware development across cross-functional teams.
  • Lead Agile processes including sprint planning, backlog management, and ceremonies.
  • Own workflows, ensuring strong backlog hygiene, prioritization, and delivery tracking.
  • Establish and evolve development processes and SDLC practices in a fast-changing environment.
  • Partner closely with engineering, product, design, and quality assurance teams to align priorities and resolve ambiguity.
  • Identify risks, remove blockers, and ensure teams are progressing toward key milestones.
  • Facilitate decision-making and maintain clear communication across stakeholders.
  • Maintain documentation to support execution, accountability, and alignment.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Technical Project Management, Agile Delivery, or similar roles.
  • Strong experience leading software AND firmware development efforts.
  • Background working on consumer products, ideally hardware-integrated or wearable technology.
  • Proven experience operating in ambiguous, fast-paced, or early-stage environments.
  • Hands-on experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager.
  • Deep expertise with Agile tooling.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Builder mindset with a bias for action and problem-solving.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience with embedded systems, firmware development, or hardware-software integration.
  • Background in wearables, robotics, connected devices, or smart products.
  • Experience supporting 0→1 product development or innovation/research and development environments.
  • Familiarity with mobile or cloud-connected applications tied to physical products.
