This role requires candidates who are currently authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, and C2C arrangements are not accepted.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a technically credible and highly client-facing Technical Project Manager to lead complex customer implementations across Google Cloud, artificial intelligence, conversational AI, cloud contact-center, data, and customer-experience solutions. This is not a traditional internal IT project-management role or a coordination-only position. You will serve as the primary technical and operational point of contact for multiple external customers while leading architects, developers, analysts, QA professionals, and customer teams through successful delivery.

This permanent position will provide long-term ownership of a growing portfolio of technical implementations. The selected candidate will initially inherit active projects and progressively take responsibility for larger, more complex customer programs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple customer implementations simultaneously, ranging from smaller engagements to complex enterprise programs.
  • Manage delivery from discovery and requirements gathering through technical planning, configuration, development, testing, UAT, deployment, and stabilization.
  • Translate customer requirements into technical work plans, milestones, assignments, dependencies, testing strategies, and deployment schedules.
  • Coordinate Cloud Architects, AI Developers, Business Analysts, QA teams, Pre-Sales Engineers, Account Executives, Finance, Resource Management, and customer technical teams.
  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, change requests, resource allocations, statements of work, and customer expectations.
  • Maintain project plans, risk registers, API and integration milestones, UAT plans, deployment plans, resource bookings, and internal reporting.
  • Communicate technical risks, tradeoffs, roadblocks, and recommended solutions to engineering teams, customers, and executive stakeholders.
  • Participate in customer presentations, discovery sessions, pre-sales conversations, and solution-planning discussions.
  • Proactively identify delivery concerns, staffing conflicts, technical dependencies, and potential project delays.
  • Help strengthen implementation methodology, project governance, and Professional Services processes.

Requirements

  • Approximately 6–8 or more years of relevant technical project or program-management experience.
  • Meaningful experience delivering cloud, data, AI, software, integration, contact-center, or customer-experience implementations.
  • Genuine Google Cloud Platform implementation experience. Certification alone is not sufficient.
  • Ability to discuss GCP architecture, services, integrations, dependencies, testing, deployment, and technical tradeoffs with customers and engineering teams.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent customer projects and technical workstreams.
  • Strong external client-facing, consulting, and executive communication skills.
  • Experience leading architects, developers, QA professionals, analysts, and other contributors without direct authority.
  • Strong scope, risk, budget, timeline, dependency, resource, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
  • A proactive and accountable leadership style with a willingness to communicate early and often.
  • Confidence stepping into technical customer conversations when an architect, developer, or technical leader is unavailable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional-services, consulting, systems-integration, MSP, or technology-solutions experience.
  • Experience with Google Cloud data and AI deployments.
  • Exposure to conversational agents, virtual agents, fulfillment webhooks, BigQuery, APIs, integrations, Vertex AI, Gemini, Agent Platform, or CX Agent Studio.
  • CCaaS or cloud contact-center implementation experience.
  • Genesys, AWS, or Microsoft Azure experience.
  • Previous experience in architecture, development, technical business analysis, solution design, product delivery, or another technical discipline.
  • PMP, Scrum, Agile, or Google Cloud certifications.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate can move comfortably between conversations with developers, cloud architects, customer executives, sales leaders, finance teams, and senior leadership. This person takes ownership rather than waiting to be asked, identifies problems before they become delivery failures, and remains calm and credible when projects become challenging. The strongest candidate will be personable, organized, technically curious, and confident without being arrogant. They must be capable of leading highly visible enterprise programs while giving smaller customer engagements the same level of care and professionalism.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

  • Become a central owner of technical project delivery within a growing cloud and AI consulting environment.
  • Work directly with Google Cloud, generative AI, conversational AI, CCaaS, data, integration, and customer-experience technologies.
  • Lead both greenfield implementations and modernization initiatives.
  • Work closely with executive leadership, Professional Services, AI leadership, PMO teams, architects, developers, and customers.
  • Influence delivery methodology, resource planning, customer experience, and Professional Services operations.
  • Opportunity to grow into broader PMO, delivery, or Professional Services leadership.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Flexible time off.
  • Company-provided laptop.
  • Employer-paid life insurance.
  • Annual performance reviews.
  • Anticipated annual performance bonus.

Benefits begin on the first day of the month following the employee’s start date.

Location Requirements

This position is fully remote. Candidates must currently reside in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, or Virginia unless another location is specifically approved.

Occasional travel and after-hours availability may be required for customer meetings, international stakeholders, or critical deployment windows.
