Key Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and manpower plans
- Oversee procurement of materials, subcontractors, and equipment
- Career coordination with Superintendents to ensure field execution aligns with project goals
- Maintain accountability for safety, quality, and financial performance
Financial & Cost Management
- Manage project cost controls and forecasting
- Review and approve change orders and manage scope growth
- Track productivity and cost performance indicators
- Ensure timely billing and contract compliance
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
Client & Stakeholder Coordination
- Serve as primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders
- Participate in project meetings and executive reviews
- Maintain strong relationships with client project teams
- Ensure compliance with client-specific safety, quality, and reporting requirements
Contract & Change Management
- Review and interpret contract documents
- Manage change order processes and documentation
- Cook ROM pricing and scope validation
- Maintain detailed change logs and project documentation
Quality & Safety Oversight
- Ensure compliance with Sprint Mechanical’s safety program
- Support quality control processes and inspections
- Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Technology & Software Experience
- Proficiency with:
- - Bluebeam
- - Procore
- - Microsoft Project
- - Netsuite
- - Navisworks
- - AutoDesk
- - Primavera
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years of Project Management experience in mechanical construction
- Experience managing complex industrial or commercial projects
- Strong understanding of HVAC, piping and mechanical systems
- Proven experience with cost control, scheduling, and change management
- Able to read and interpret drawings, specifications and contracts
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Data center and/or semiconductor facility estimating experience strongly preferred
