Technical Program Manager - Vehicle System Integration
What's the Job?
Orchestrate the Requirements Pipeline by managing the release train, maturity lifecycle, and governance for all System Technical Specifications (STS) across program gates.
Drive SFMEA Execution & Accountability by acting as the operational owner of the System Failure Mode and Effects Analysis lifecycle, facilitating workshops, and tracking open action items.
Build and maintain cross-functional dependency mapping to proactively identify and resolve timeline disconnects, ensuring smooth engineering progress.
Lead Change Control & Impact Governance by managing Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and evaluating timeline and resource impacts across stakeholders.
Define and track maturity gate metrics, providing high-visibility status reports to executive leadership to ensure project health and alignment.
What's Needed?
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or Systems Engineer in aerospace, autonomous vehicles, or advanced automotive sectors.
- Deep familiarity with systems engineering lifecycle models, fail-operational architectures, and requirements management frameworks.
- Proven experience managing safety workflows such as SFMEAs, DFMEAs, FTAs, and compliance with ISO 26262 / MIL-STD-882 standards.
- Strong background in vehicle E/E system design, electrical integration, or managing complex hardware/software interfaces.
- Experience using project, change, and configuration management tools like JIRA, Smartsheet, Jama, Polarion, or DOORS.
