About the Role

As a Technical Program Manager (TPM), you serve as a technical, external-facing program lead responsible for connecting our internal teams with government program offices, implementation teams and industry partners. You act as a trusted representative with the customer, ensuring our capabilities, priorities and business interests are clearly understood and appropriately prioritized across the broader program. This position requires a combination of project management, process optimization, technical proficiency and execution skills. You are a person who loves fixing problems, scaling technical solutions, and always embraces the best idea, even when it is not your own.

Core Responsibilities

  • Translate technical capabilities and implementation progress into concise, decision-oriented briefs for customers, partners and senior leaders
  • Synthesize concrete technical goals from product vision, mapping global product strategy to granular team tasks and issues. This means triaging requests from the field to create maximum focus for the team, while escalating items that need immediate attention.
  • Keep broad and complete state of everything involving or related to your projects. Pre-empt and resolve any issues that may steer projects off-course.
  • Enhance cross-team collaboration. Read a room of technical experts to align them around shared objectives. Improve efficiency where you see miscommunication or lack of coordination.
  • Navigate complex, multi-party program dynamics and proactively identify opportunities to strengthen our position and increase impact with the customer

  • Prior missile or missile defense experience, with experience supporting the Missile Defense Agency strongly preferred

  • A creative approach to project management centered around lightweight frameworks that enable rapid iteration, while operating in harmony with a larger development organization
  • An ability to develop strong relationship with customer-facing teams and a high level of empathy with our end-users' needs
  • Meticulous attention to detail, including holding tightly to your team's vision and maintaining a high product quality bar
  • Ability to travel up to 75% based on program and customer needs

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant industry experience, preferably supporting complex government, defense, aerospace or national security programs
  • Active Secret clearance at minimum, TS/SCI strongly preferred
