About the role

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.
Responsibilities
- Manage program end-to-end quality for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning New Product Introductions by developing rigorous schedules and requirements in collaboration with product, supplier, and manufacturing quality engineering teams.
- Define and manage a program portfolio and governance structure that drives executive decision-making, prioritizes resource stewardship, and establishes a visible cadence to mitigate program dependencies.
- Partner with global server operations, engineering, supply chain, and data center operations to lead deep-dive root cause investigations, execute corrective actions, and manage excursion support.
- Lead data analysis efforts to track quality trends, identify reliability escapes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase program velocity across multiple global teams.
- Implement high-standard communication frameworks across a portfolio of programs to report quality status, program reviews, and strategic updates to leadership and key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in program management.
- 5 years of experience managing technical programs.
Preferred qualifications
- 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience in product quality, machine learning, compute or storage, and data center operations.
- Experience tracking quality trends, managing product excursions, and identifying reliability escapes using data analysis.
Benefits
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $192000 - $279000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits
