Technical Program Manager - Implementation
About the role
Candid Health is looking for a Technical Program Manager – Implementation to serve as the connective tissue between Engineering, Product, and Operations teams. This high‑impact role is designed for someone who thrives on organization and can navigate the complexities of a fast‑growing platform, turning high‑level business objectives into technical milestones and ensuring seamless delivery to customers.
Responsibilities
- Program Orchestration: Lead the planning and execution of large‑scale initiatives, create roadmaps, define milestones, and track progress across multiple teams to ensure on‑time delivery.
- Bridge Operations & EPD: Act as the primary point of contact for Operations teams, translate customer implementation needs into technical requirements, and manage the rollout of new features to stakeholders.
- Master Cross‑Functional Integration: Map and manage complex interdependencies between core infrastructure and customer‑facing workflows, identifying technical and operational bottlenecks early to keep platform updates and implementations moving forward without friction.
- Risk Mitigation: Anticipate bottlenecks and technical risks before they become “fires,” and facilitate trade‑off discussions between speed of delivery and technical debt.
- Visibility & Communication: Provide clear, concise updates to leadership on program health, resource allocation, and core KPIs.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management or a similar role.
- Comfortable in technical environments with an understanding of APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical updates into clear status reports for non‑technical stakeholders.
- Bias toward action and a talent for building “systems for the work” that enable others to be effective.
- Strong relationship‑building skills, able to influence teams without direct authority and remain calm under pressure.
- Proven track record of managing cross‑functional projects from inception to launch.
- Proficiency with project‑management tools (e.g., Jira, Linear, Asana) and documentation software (e.g., Confluence, Notion).
- Experience in a fast‑paced SaaS environment is a major plus.
- Strong analytical skills; uses data to drive decisions and measure project success.
