Technical Program Manager, HR
About the role
We're seeking a strategic and results-driven Technical Program Manager to join our People Organization. This role involves optimizing and scaling AI tools that transform the employee experience, bridging HR stakeholders and AI engineers.
Responsibilities
- Configure, test, and deploy LLM-powered features and agent tools, in partnership with IT/Engineering teams, ensuring scalability, reliability, and high performance, while establishing best practices for AI system usage across the People team
- Partner strategically with ML product leaders and engineering teams to identify organizational bottlenecks, shape the product roadmap, and architect scalable solutions
- Translate HR business requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with engineering and systems teams, proactively identifying opportunities to apply machine learnings towards the optimization of HR processes, systems, and analytics
- Execute A/B testing frameworks and analyze conversation data, user feedback, and system metrics to drive continuous improvement of AI tool accuracy and user experience
- Partner with HR, legal, and other subject matter experts to curate, maintain, and govern content that trains our AI systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and appropriate segmentation
- Create and maintain program roadmaps, timelines, and milestone tracking, while coordinating cross-functional workstreams. Track risks, dependencies, and blockers across initiatives; maintain clear stakeholder communication through regular status updates, metrics, and escalations
- Document workflows, create and maintain SOPs, and establish best practices for AI system configuration and content management
Requirements
Required qualifications include a degree in a quantitative or technical field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Machine Learning, or equivalent experience, 1-3 years of experience in project/program management, operations, or technical coordination, with a preferred focus on enterprise HR technology, AI implementation, and/or process improvement, demonstrated proficiency with AI/ML tools and platforms, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a strong grasp of fundamental computer science concepts.
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include experience with backend languages, frontend frameworks, or creating and shipping full-stack applications, writing scripts or queries and building data visualization tools to support analysis, automation, and system troubleshooting, and a plus for experience with healthcare systems and data governance.
