About the role
In this highly visible role as a cloud-focused Technical Program Manager, you will engage with cross-functional teams to drive security monitoring solutions and tool adoption across AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and other IaaS platforms.
Responsibilities
- Review and approve security monitoring solutions and procedures/documentation for cloud tenants.
- Engage cross-functional teams to ensure ID&R monitoring tool adoption.
- Query data sources (Splunk, wiz.io, mySQL) to confirm log availability.
- Assist clients with technical problems during solution deployment, such as host agent installation and setup in tenant environments.
- Create, manage, and provision access to client cloud dashboards.
- Learn quickly on the job as new IaaS security solutions are introduced.
- Propose architectural solutions to leadership, solicit feedback, and collaborate on new product ideas through design reviews and tech talks.
- Document solutions thoroughly and use them to train team members, including production support personnel.
- Manage project schedules, identify potential issues, and communicate them clearly to stakeholders.
- Take ownership of release schedules and milestones, maintaining high velocity in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Knowledge of application, IaaS platform, and cloud security best practices and implementation.
- Experience with AWS services and features like S3, Lambda, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, and VPC Flow logging.
- Experience with other cloud providers, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Experience with SQL, programming, and scripting.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Linux/UNIX systems and best practices for deploying applications to those stacks.
- Broad knowledge of enterprise IT and/or cloud SaaS markets and products.
- Experience with cloud microservices, APIs (developer experience), distributed systems, and UI/UX.
- Experience with Tableau or similar dashboard applications.
- Knowledge of DevOps and Continuous Delivery concepts; experience preferred.
- Ability to learn quickly when introduced to new technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong client relationship management skills.
- Strong project, time management, and team collaboration skills.
- Experience working with engineering, sales, and marketing teams in cloud computing or related technical fields.
Nice-to-have
- Experience with data visualization—ability to transform data into intelligence.
- 3–5 years of industry experience with technical subjects and emerging technologies in cloud computing or related fields.
- 3–5 years of project/program management experience in cloud environments.
- 3–5 years of experience working directly with internal/external cloud customers.
Pay
$90,000 – $130,000 a year
