About the Role

In this hybrid position, you will drive the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, cross-functional technology projects. You will work closely with people throughout the organization to ensure that all requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track and aligned with our corporate strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Establish project deliverables, effective communication plans, and prepare status reports.
  • Execute project plans and manage the project teams' deliverables.
  • Identify gaps in existing processes and update them or design new processes where needed.
  • Serve as the connective tissue across the Technology Department to ensure timely and successful program outcomes.
  • Lead individual projects from initiation through delivery by defining project objectives, success criteria, milestones, and delivery plans aligned to business outcomes.
  • Drive day-to-day project execution, ensure work stays on track, manage risks and issues, and escalate blockers appropriately.
  • Partner with business owners, vendors, and technical teams to align expectations, timelines, and delivery commitments; escalate risks related to scope, cost, or contractual dependencies when needed.
  • Analyze systems, processes, or data to identify project risks, dependencies, and issues, and recommend practical mitigation strategies.
  • Break down complex initiatives into actionable plans and manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Adapt communication style and level of detail based on audience (technical and non-technical) to clearly and consistently communicate project status, risks, and decisions.
  • Work effectively across cross-functional teams and organizational levels to ensure the right participants are engaged in planning, decision-making, and delivery.
  • Understand business needs, identify pain points, and ensure project outcomes align with stakeholder expectations; build trust, gain buy-in, and drive alignment throughout project delivery.
  • Partner with technical and business teams to elicit, document, validate, and manage project requirements, ensuring delivered solutions meet agreed-upon outcomes and constraints.
  • Use documentation and ticketing tools to plan, track, document, and communicate project status and deliverables.
  • Prepare and deliver project updates, kickoffs, and readouts for stakeholders and leadership audiences.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong technical aptitude for quickly understanding and working with new technologies, systems, and technical concepts relevant to project delivery.
  • Understanding of project management principles and practices, including scope, schedule, cost, risk, dependency, and change management.
  • Proven project leadership and execution-focused delivery ownership.
  • Strong stakeholder advisement and coordination skills.
  • Analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Skilled communicator with the ability to adapt communication style based on audience.
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and organizational levels.
  • Proficiency with documentation and ticketing tools.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years' proven experience in project management.
  • Deep understanding of Agile & Scrum Methodologies.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • PMP or Agile Certification is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
