Technical Program Manager

About the role

Location: Charlotte, NC. Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3–4 days onsite per week. Employment Type: W2 Contract. Duration: 12 months. This role is only open to USC or GC candidates. Matlen Silver is seeking a Technical Program Manager to support technology risk initiatives within Global Corporate & Investment Banking (GCIB). This role will work closely with technology teams, development teams, and business stakeholders to manage project delivery, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure successful execution of key initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage technology risk projects throughout the project lifecycle
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies
• Partner with development teams and business stakeholders to drive project objectives and deliverables
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and business/customer stakeholders
• Identify, track, and mitigate technology risks and vulnerabilities
• Monitor project status and provide clear updates to stakeholders and leadership
• Utilize Jira to manage project activities, issues, and deliverables
• Collaborate with technical teams supporting Java, Oracle, and MongoDB environments
• Manage multiple priorities and deliverables within a fast-paced financial services environment

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project or Program Management experience
• Experience supporting technology risk initiatives
• Experience with vulnerability management
• Strong working knowledge of Jira
• Strong technical understanding and experience working with development teams
• Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to business stakeholders
• Working knowledge of Java, Oracle, and/or MongoDB
• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
• Financial services experience
