Responsibilities
- Set program milestones, communicate program status to team and leadership, identify program risks and coordinate a plan of response to mitigate risks.
- Manage development, delivery, and qualification of depth subsystems based on system requirements, technical challenges, lead-times, and business need.
- Resolve dependencies with cross functional teams.
- Manage communication within, and between, internal engineering and external vendor.
- Collaborates with others to track, coordinate, and communicate end-to-end project schedules (e.g., semester plans, milestones, timelines, releases) for multiple feature areas.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years' experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development.
- 6+ years' experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- 2 years' experience managing large-scale global programs in technology deployments.
- Aerospace & Defense, or Automotive manufacturing industry experience is preferred.
- Experience with cross discipline collaboration and problem resolution skills with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent ability to express technical concepts in verbal and written forms.
- Effective program coordination skills and the ability to create, implement and monitor basic projects and plans.
- Familiarity with bills of material (BOM), engineering documentation, and manufacturing process.
Skills
