Technical Program Manager
About the role
As the Technical Program Manager to the CTO at Bear Robotics, you’ll assist the CTO with technical operations, project management, and strategic planning. This role requires a blend of technical acumen, organizational skills, and the ability to work closely with various teams to ensure the successful execution of our AI-driven autonomous robotics initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between the CTO and other departments, ensuring clear communication of technical requirements and project goals.
- Support the CTO in strategic planning and decision-making by providing insights and recommendations based on technical data and industry trends.
- Oversee and manage key project and product milestones to ensure timely progress and successful outcomes.
- Capture key takeaways from meetings and ensure timely execution of resulting action items.
- Maintain organized records of technical documents, project files, and correspondence.
- Manage and anticipate the executive calendar, coordinating all internal and external appointments.
- Set up video conferencing and meetings efficiently with the assistance of office administration.
- Ensure the CTO’s email is organized and up-to-date.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
This position is part of the existing TPM team, distributed across California and Korea. Must be flexible with working hours/time zones.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, or robotics engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in technical project management or a technical role supporting leadership.
- Background as a PM or software engineer.
- Proficiency in technical tools and software relevant to robotics.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail.
- High degree of professionalism in dealing with diverse groups, including Board members, senior executives, staff, investors, community leaders, vendors, and media contacts.
- Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Ability to work with multiple time zones (USA and Korea).
- Travel to our Korea office may be occasionally required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in Korean and English.
- Experience in a start-up environment.
- Robotics software development experience.

Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer.

- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $196,000 - $240,000. Pay is dependent on the applicant's relevant experience.
