Technical Program Manager

About the role

The Anyscale Technical Program Management (TPM) team plays a critical role in executing high-impact programs, continuously improving processes to sustainably grow and increase the effectiveness of the Tech organization. As a TPM focused on Anyscale’s core product solution, you will help lead complex application development to enhance the product platform.

Responsibilities

• Support and help scale technical solutions that make Anyscale’s products and services possible.
• Plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate clearly with project stakeholders on complex projects with significant bottom-line impact.
• Contribute to prioritization, planning of projects and features, stakeholder management, and tracking of external commitments.
• Highlight and espouse best practices in the organization's technical culture.
• Work closely with the software development and product teams to deliver high-quality, scalable products used by customers worldwide.
• Assemble project teams, assign responsibilities, identify appropriate resources, and develop schedules to ensure timely completion of projects by meeting project milestones.
• Avoid risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs between business needs and technical constraints, and encourage risk-taking behavior to maximize business benefit.
• Track programs that span multiple teams and conduct weekly program reviews for the leadership team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical work experience.
• 6+ years of technical work experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Machine Learning projects and cloud platforms.
• 3+ years of experience with leading enterprise SaaS organizations.

• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working in a team setting and a track record of shipping software on time.
• A deep understanding of software development and an obsession with contributing to the development of high-performance engineering organizations.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
