Technical Program Manager

As a Technical Program Manager you will be responsible for;• Lead engineering teams in the design, development, analysis, and testing of mechanical and pyrotechnic components and systems that exceed customer expectations. • Serve as the interface with customers and internal leadership. • Supports business development, including proposal writing and new business meetings • Responsible for ensuring documentation of engineering activities through clear, accurate drawings, reports, and presentations • Track program performance using key metrics and proactively identify risks, issues, and mitigation plans. • Support technical reviews and program milestone reviews. • Facilitate program planning, technical decision-making, and change management across engineering teams. • Manage scope, cost, schedule, and technical performance while balancing competing priorities. • Coordinate proposal efforts, capture activities, and transition from business development to program execution. • Partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Contracts, and Finance to ensure successful program delivery.Qualifications;• Required Education: B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or related technical field • Preferred Education: M.S. or MBA • Required Experience: 5+ years engineering experience, including minimum of 2 years in Aerospace and/or Systems Engineering • Preferred Experience: 2+ years experience managing complex technical programs in the defense, aerospace, or government technology sectors. • Demonstrated ability to develop, plan and execute projects • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional engineering teams. • Experience managing cost, schedule, scope, and technical risks. • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance Salary Range: $115k-$150kLocation: Onsite in Mukilteo, WAThe actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience Note: Due to the nature of the work, only US Persons (citizens or permanent residents) need apply for this position All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, age, genetic information, or pregnancy.Please beware of job seeker scams and see this important notice on our careers page for more information about our recruiting process.Compliance Notice: Alten USA is a federal contractor subject to the requirements of the Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA) and Executive Order 11246.
