Technical Program Communications Coordinator

About the role
We are seeking a proficient Technical Program Communications Coordinator to join our United States Postal Service (USPS) portfolio. This role requires a candidate who excels in customer service, learning and communicating new policies and procedures to external customers and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience with advanced tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and AI and Machine Learning to organize and analyze data. This position involves supporting government contracts, working directly with customers, and handling sensitive data, with a strong understanding of USPS regulations to solve complex problems autonomously.
Responsibilities
- Manage communications and respond to USPS customers with questions or concerns about the USPS Fraud Analytics and Mitigation (FAM) program.
- Effectively communicate USPS policy and guidelines to internal and external stakeholders at varying levels.
- Organize and track customer requests to ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain and analyze data at the request of the USPS client in Databricks and Excel.
- Collaborate with other USPS contractors and vendors to meet customer needs and resolve complex issues.
- Identify areas of process improvement and leverage technical skills to address these issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with zero to two years of experience in project management, project scheduling, business process improvement, business consulting, or continuous improvement.
- Moderate skills and proficiency with Microsoft products: Power Apps, Power BI, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
- Demonstrated soft skills such as customer service, patience, emotional intelligence, and exemplary communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to align personal goals with team objectives, creating a personal brand that enhances the team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience operating within a fast-paced, autonomous, and collaborative virtual environment.
- Significant understanding of project management fundamentals and ability to work within project constraints.
- Strong business acumen.
- Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance – Must be a US Citizen.
Skills
- Project management consultancy experience supporting program operations across large, complex projects/portfolios.
- Experience with or certification in SAFe, Prosci, Lean Six Sigma, CPBA, or LUMA.
- Human-Centered Design (HCD) certification.
- Experience with Databricks.
- Strong working knowledge of Power Automate and Power Apps.
Pay
Target salary range: $75,000–$95,000.
