About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner to spearhead technology solutions across our critical enterprise functions: Accounting, Facilities, Finance, Ops Services, and PR. In this role, you will define the product vision, manage the product roadmap and backlog, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to deliver high-value solutions that enhance our restaurant and home office systems, business processes, and digital transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Technical Product Owner for custom-developed applications and various SaaS platforms across critical enterprise functions, driving the vision, strategy, and execution of key initiatives.
- Develop and manage the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and IT strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, business units, third-party vendors, and leadership to gather requirements, define priorities, and deliver scalable solutions.
- Work closely with developers, architects, and administrators to design and implement new functionalities and enhancements.
- Lead Agile product development efforts, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release management.
- Ensure platform governance, security, compliance, and performance optimization.
- Stay up to date on platforms’ capabilities, industry trends, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
- Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders within Accounting, Facilities, Finance, Ops Services, and PR.
- Act as the primary technology liaison, understanding business needs, translating them into technical requirements, and communicating technology strategies effectively.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on the effectiveness of the owned product’s solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in IT Service Management (ITSM), Product Ownership, or related roles.
- Proven experience owning and managing technology solutions for enterprise functions (Accounting, Facilities, Finance, Ops Services, and PR preferred).
- Strong understanding of both custom software development lifecycles and SaaS solution implementation and management.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse business stakeholders and external vendors.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Experience in the casual dining or hospitality industry is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a results-oriented mindset.
- Proven experience in Agile methodologies, including Scrum and SAFe frameworks.
