Job Summary As part of Cat Digital’s Technical Product Management team you will be a part of creating the next generation of digital solutions to enable enterprise growth in prime sales and aftermarket parts and services. Primary responsibilities include developing product requirements, technical solutions, and engineering roadmaps with an emphasis on maximizing solution re-use, customer value and enterprise value. What You Will Do Maximize the value of the product and define work for multiple scrum teams. Collaborate with Product Owners, System Engineering, Data and Analytics Architects & Platform Architects to own and progressively elaborate functional and non-functional Epics and Features for the Development Teams to deliver. The Product Manager is empowered to make all decisions regarding the Technical Product Backlog. Responsible for maximizing the value of the product and the work of the Development TeamResponsible for acting as Product Manager for larger, more complex projects with high value to the organizationResponsible for creating, maintaining and prioritizing the Product Backlog according to business value for the life of the projectCommunicate Product Backlog priorities to the teamAct as the key decision-maker regarding what features the product will haveResponsible for product vision and conveying that vision to the teamOwns definition of acceptance criteria for product featuresWork closely with key stakeholders throughout the organizationResponsible for making decisions on release dates and contentRepresent the customer, interfacing and engaging with the customerCommunicates releases to stakeholder and customersEmployee is also responsible for performing other job duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time to time. What You Will Have Business Analysis: Knowledge of business analysis and the set of tasks, techniques and tools required to identify business needs; ability to recommend solutions that deliver value to stakeholders.Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.Software Product Business Knowledge: Knowledge of and experience with the business aspects and operation of a software product; ability to manage install base, current uses, future plans, and product vision.Software Engineering: Knowledge of software engineering methodologies and best practices. Summary Pay Range $128,470.00 - $208,770.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
