Technical Platform Associate

About the role

The ideal candidate will play a supporting role on the Platform Support team by publishing and maintaining content on BJU Press Educational Technology platforms. They can work well within a team and follow documented processes to complete assigned tasks. They have a strong understanding and ability to work with technology.

About the Team: The Educational Technology team seeks to support the mission of BJU Press by enabling educators and students through innovative technology solutions that enhance learning experiences, foster digital literacy, and prepare students for future success in an increasingly digital world. The Educational Technology Development team seeks to support the mission of BJU Press by infusing technology solutions into the BJU Press content that is developed and by providing digital content through user-friendly platforms.

Responsibilities

• Publish content received from production departments to educational technology platforms
• Complete assigned tasks by deadline given from management
• Review and maintain content on educational technology platforms including making necessary revisions to digital files, renaming and reorganizing content
• Collaborate with team members and escalate any issues to management
• Maintain knowledge of BJU Press products and services

Requirements

• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to troubleshoot technology issues
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Detail-oriented
• Self-motivated to grow and learn

Qualifications

• Associates degree
• 1-2 years related experience
