Technical Marketing Specialist
A full-time, salaried-exempt position reporting to the Corporate Communications Manager in The Woodlands, TX. Approximately 15–20% travel required; Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. work schedule.

We are seeking an experienced and creative Marketing Specialist to join our Business Development team. The Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the company’s growth by coordinating the design, creation, and execution of external marketing initiatives that promote Dynamis Power Solutions’ offerings to key audiences, drive brand awareness, generate leads, and support sales efforts.
Responsibilities
- Lead the coordination, development, and execution of external marketing campaigns and initiatives across digital, print, and events.
- Own and drive the development of marketing documents tied to engineering upgrades and new product development, including product specification sheets and marketing brochures.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to create high-quality content (brochures, social media posts, press releases, etc.) that aligns with the company’s brand and messaging.
- Oversee the creation of marketing materials and ensure alignment with the company’s voice, target audience, and service offerings, with oversight from the Communications team.
- Assist in the planning and execution of multi-channel campaigns to promote Dynamis Power Solutions’ services to clients, prospects, and industry stakeholders.
- Support the creation and management of social media content and online advertising to build brand awareness and drive engagement.
- Provide marketing materials and support to the Business Development team, including presentations, case studies, press releases, and other collateral.
- Plan and coordinate marketing activities related to industry events, trade shows, and conferences, including promotional materials, design, and logistics.
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing regular reports on performance and key metrics to leadership.
- Ensure all marketing initiatives align with Dynamis Power Solutions’ brand guidelines and positioning.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.
Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Successfully passes all applicable pre-employment testing, including background check, drug screening, aptitude, and/or competency assessments.
- Daily overtime required; in-person, predictable attendance in The Woodlands, TX.
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License required; employment contingent upon meeting company driving standards, including a 3-year U.S. driving history and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field required; equivalent combination of education, specialized training, and relevant professional experience will be considered.
- Five or more years of experience in marketing, with a focus on external marketing initiatives in B2B or industrial sectors, preferably within the power generation or energy industries.
- Strong project management skills, with experience coordinating multiple marketing initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience with digital marketing platforms, including social media (LinkedIn) and website content management.
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) or similar design tools; knowledge of design principles and ability to create visually appealing marketing materials.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating compelling content.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and leadership.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive and adaptable approach to managing marketing projects.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
- Primarily works indoors in an office setting, sitting for extended periods at a desk station with keyboarding and repetitive motions.
- Vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus while reading and using a computer monitor.
- Must speak clearly and audibly, and have the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds (e.g., building alarms) from in-person, telephone, or remote communication.
- May be required to stand, kneel, push, pull, reach overhead, stoop, crouch, climb, and lift up to 25 lbs independently.
- Work hours may include early morning, late afternoon/evening, and weekends depending on job demands.
