Technical Lead, .NET/Middleware

About the role

The Technical Lead, .NET/Middleware is a senior technical specialist responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of high-volume, mission-critical API and middleware solutions supporting TireHub’s customer connectivity platform. This role coordinates internal and offshore development resources, drives technical strategy and execution, and ensures secure, high performance, and reliable services. The primary technology stack includes .NET Core, API frameworks, and middleware integration patterns. This role will report to the Software Development Manager, Core Systems.

Responsibilities

• Defines and implements architectural standards and best practices for .NET API and Middleware platforms.
• Ensures platform security, performance, scalability, and operational stability.
• Designs and implements business process automation using .NET microservices and integration services.
• Oversees API lifecycle management, including maintenance and third-level (senior) technical support.
• Leads, mentors, and develops a team of internal Developers and Senior Developers to achieve business objectives.
• Manages day-to-day delivery and priorities for an offshore .NET API development team across multiple initiatives.
• Partners with architecture, product, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Ensures individual personal adherence to TireHub policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Participates and maintains ongoing training requirements through in-person, virtual or computer-based learning modules as assigned.
• Completes other tasks assigned by their supervisor or another member of Leadership, as requested.

Requirements

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / MIS or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of experience
