About the role

Production support position for business applications serving trading desk services and business operations teams. The role involves acting as a technical lead or senior SME, interfacing with senior business and IT stakeholders, and resolving complex issues in a financial markets environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support for business applications, ensuring stability and performance
• Serve as technical lead or senior subject matter expert for application and data issues
• Engage directly with senior business and IT stakeholders to explain technical issues and solutions
• Apply ITIL processes for incident, request, problem, change, and release management
• Maintain knowledge management practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues using strong analytical and synthesizing skills

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in a production support role (mandatory range 5–8 years)
• Proven experience as a technical lead or senior SME for business applications
• Strong knowledge of scripting, tooling, UNIX, Wintel, and databases
• Experience with scheduling tools (e.g., Autosys) and automation tools (e.g., AppDynamics, IP Center)
• Securities market knowledge — required to support trading desk services and business operations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to convey complex technical concepts to senior stakeholders
• Familiarity with ITIL processes for incident, request, problem, change, and release management

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Azure cloud platform and related services: AAD, ADF, ADO, ADB, ADLS, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL
• Additional financial market knowledge beyond core securities

Pay

Expected compensation range: $60,000 – $135,000 annually. Final compensation depends on geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
