Key Responsibilities
- Lead the successful delivery of team initiatives while ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Provide technical guidance through architecture and code reviews while focusing on coaching, mentorship, and team development.
- Foster a healthy, collaborative team culture by balancing workloads, removing blockers, and promoting psychological safety.
- Drive Agile best practices, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to communicate priorities, manage expectations, and deliver successful outcomes.
- Support hiring, onboarding, performance management, and career development of engineering team members.
- Establish consistent engineering standards, including AI-assisted development practices, and measure their impact on productivity and software quality.
- Champion DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and engineering best practices to improve delivery efficiency and reliability.
Requirements
- Technical Skills: Strong software engineering background with the ability to review system designs, architecture, and code. Experience with modern software architecture, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines. Ability to identify technical risks and guide scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions. Passion for improving developer productivity through tools, automation, and engineering standards.
- Literature: Leadership Competencies: Proven experience coaching, mentoring, and developing engineers. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to influence across teams and build consensus. Commitment to fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and psychologically safe environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
