Technical Lead - Java / Angular Full Stack

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead with strong leadership, communication, and hands-on technical expertise to lead onsite and offshore development teams. This role requires close collaboration with clients, technical teams, and third-party vendors to deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor development teams across onsite and offshore locations.
• Collaborate with clients, technical teams, and third-party vendors to drive successful project delivery.
• Conceptualize and implement technical solutions aligned with evolving technology landscapes.
• Design and develop scalable web applications and enterprise-grade solutions.
• Participate throughout the SDLC, including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Solve complex technical challenges and provide troubleshooting and performance optimization solutions.
• Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies and best practices.
• Manage priorities, milestones, and project deliverables effectively.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in:
• Core Java
• J2EE Technologies
• Spring MVC
• Spring Boot
• RESTful Web Services
• Angular
• Hibernate
• Spring JPA
• 3+ years of experience designing scalable web applications.
• Strong experience working in Agile environments.
• Proven leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Technical Skills

• Backend Technologies: Java / J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, RESTful APIs, Hibernate, Spring JPA
• Frontend Technologies: Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, AJAX, Vue.js (preferred)
• Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle Database
• Strong SQL and database management skills
• DevOps & Tools: Git, Maven, Jenkins, Nginx, Node.js, Redis, Application deployment experience (.WAR, .EAR files)

Additional Skills

• Experience with Spring Cloud
• Ability to analyze data flows and optimize component/network interactions
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience
• Ability to communicate technical concepts, designs, and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences

Pay

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $82,082 to $193,440. Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law. The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction. These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity. It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
