Lead Java Full-Stack Developer (Angular / Spring Boot)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Lead Java Full-Stack Developer to join our Technology Services team in Pittsburgh on a hybrid basis. You will work on building scalable, cutting-edge software architectures designed to solve complex business problems for major enterprise clients. This is an exciting opportunity to lead software design, drive modern engineering principles, and work closely within a collaborative, Agile framework.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain secure, high-performing server-side business logic using Core Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Create and implement responsive, state-of-the-art front-end user interfaces using Angular.
• Build, deploy, and manage secure RESTful APIs and modern microservices in cloud/hybrid ecosystems.
• Orchestrate automated CI/CD pipelines using GithubActions and ensure rigorous quality with unit testing.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with strong expertise in Core Java and Spring Boot.
• Proven, hands-on experience developing web applications using Angular (or React) front-end frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, API development, and SQL database management (Oracle/MySQL).
• Active experience working within Agile frameworks and utilizing modern DevOps/CI/CD tools (e.g., GithubActions).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Experience with advanced PL/SQL programming and database performance optimization.
• Broad understanding of enterprise DevOps infrastructure and cloud-native application patterns.
